1989
  • In November the company was established by Ronan McNamee and Pat Loughrey in Ireland.

1990

  • The company operated out of a premises in Santry, Dublin and later moved to Finglas, Dublin. The product was distributed via a frozen food courier service. 
  • In late 1990, Cuisine de France purchased their first van which covered the Dublin area. A third party delivery service was used by Cuisine de France in the Cork area.

1991

  • A depot was opened in Lisburn, Northern Ireland in July.

1992

  • The company, which owned 5 vehicles covering the whole of Ireland, now employed three Field Sales Reps and two Telesales staff.
  • On 1st September, Cuisine de France opened a depot in Cork.
  • In December, Cuisine de France had 14 employees, compared to 500+ in 2002.

1994

  • In June, Cuisine de France moved from Finglas, Dublin to a purpose built office and manufacturing plant in Tallaght, Dublin 24.

1995

  • The first bread line went into production in October at the manufacturing plant in Tallaght.
  • Cuisine de France ventured into the Scottish market.

1996

  • Cuisine de France opened their UK office in Long Eaton, England.

1997

  • Cuisine de France ventured into the Belgium market early in this year.
  • A depot was opened in Galway on 28th April.
  • IAWS acquired Cuisine de France in November.
  • Cuisine de France won EFSIS (European Food Safety Inspection Service) accreditation on their first application in December.

1998

  • In September, Cuisine de France UK moved to larger offices in Castle Marina, Nottingham.

1999

  • The first case of Cuisine de France product was sold in the American market in February.
  • Two new French bread lines were commissioned at Tallaght.
  • A new Food Services Division was launched in March.
  • A new extension of the Tallaght building and plant was completed in March and officially opened by Formula 1 racing star Eddie Irvine in August.
  • A new technology system went live in June.
  • A new telephone system and call centre software was implemented in August.

2001

  • ISO 9001: 2000 accreditation (International Organisation for Standardisation) awarded to the Telesales department. (This is an international standard, which is used by certification bodies to assess the organisation's ability to meet customer, regulatory and the organisations own requirements).
  • Cuisine de France signed a joint venture with Tim Horton's in Canada.
  • La Brea Bakery, USA, acquired by IAWS Group, PLC.

2002

  • First Canadian manufacturing line due for commissioning in the Summer.
  • Currently the company has 400+ employees in Ireland, 90+ in the UK and 50 in the USA.
  • Cuisine de France and Pierre's were merged in October.

2003

  • Cuisine de France rolls out a new Pizza concept called Avanti.
  • Cuisine de France launches a retail bake-at-home range.

2004

  • La Brea Bakery and Hiestand are launched in Ireland and the UK.
  • The purchase of Carroll Cuisine allows Cuisine de France to be a total solutions provider in the Food to Go market under the Pierre's brand.
  • Carroll Cuisine acquired
  • La Brea Bakery rollout into Ireland
  • Tim Hortons donut test market launched into selected Spar and Tesco sites.

2005

  • IAWS Group, plc purchases Groupe Hubert
  • Tim Hortons coffee test market launched into selected BWG sites

2006

  • Launch of Tim Hortons donuts and coffee across the Irish market
  • Otis Spunkmeyer Ltd. acquired by IAWS Group, plc
